Hi, I’m Suzi, and I’m a trained, certified and experienced Independent Wedding Celebrant, so you can rest assured that if you like what you read, you’re in good hands.

After a couple of decades working as a corporate communications and brand reputation specialist, I’m now using my journalistic, storytelling and presenting skills for a greater good – that’s celebrating you and your family!

As the go-to reader at weddings for friends and family I always wanted to be more involved with these special occasions but was too busy holding down a full-time job, being a doting mum, and a wife (19 years, no less!), to explore how I might achieve that. However, after much procrastination - and arriving at absolutely no good reasons not to - I am being true to myself and absolutely loving being a dedicated wedding celebrant. It’s ALL I do!

And now, thanks to some wonderful words of endorsement and great reviews from my couples, I’m honoured to be a multi award winning wedding celebrant, winning The Wedding Industry Awards two years in a row! Hurray!

London born and bred, I am now living in the wonderful Oxfordshire sticks. I love to talk, walk, sometimes run, and to spend time with ‘my favourite child’, my goldendoodle. Most of all though, I love to listen, and to turn tales into fabulous stories for joyful wedding day ceremonies that are truly meaningful and memorable.

PS. I am not a Humanist Celebrant or Celebrant Registrar. Confusing right?

A Humanist Celebrant will not entertain any religious content in a wedding ceremony - perhaps a favourite reading or music. Humanists are non-religious. And a ‘Celebrant Registrar’ is a council employee bound by the legal requirements of legally registering a marriage. They are not able to freely create or dedicate the time to deliver a truly bespoke and personal ceremony on your wedding day without any rules or restrictions. You will also not know who your council/celebrant registrar is going to be.
